US anti-narcotics forces have arrested the former navy chief of Guinea Bissau, wanted by Washington as a kingpin of the international drugs trade, sources familiar with the operation said, cited by Reuters. Rear Admiral Bubo Na Tchuto was reportedly captured with four other men by undercover agents in a sting operation at sea off the coast of West Africa. The admiral has been reportedly involved in several failed coups in the former Portuguese colony and suspected in cocaine smuggling from South America. He is currently in Cape Verde from which he will be transported to the US for prosecution.
